Highlights of the Week #2

Can we just talk about the gorgeous “ghetto” background? 🙂

It’s been a week and it’s already time for the second part of the highlights of my week. Let me start out by saying that this week have been so uneventful that it’s crazy. I returned home on Monday from a really quick Easter holiday to then get ill the very same night. I know, the week couldn’t have started off way better than this. So, with a cold I had to wake up around 5 every morning to then travel 1.5 hours to get to the class that I’m currently taking. Not complaining, but not a great start. But, I do have some highlights that definitely will compensate for the downlights.

1. I got over my cold and I can finally breath through my nose. You really take that for granted when you usually can breathe perfectly fine. Nasal breathing  is so underrated.

2. Girlboss is finally on Netflix. I just love Sophia Amoruso’s book ‘#GirlBoss,’ it’s literally one of the best books that I’ve read in a long time. I listened to it on Audible where Sophia was the one reading it, it doesn’t get any better than that. Without getting off track – I watched the first three episodes and it’s really good. Not completely after the book, but definitely worth watching if you’re into TV-shows about fashion, life problems and comedy. You can see the trailer here.

3. Another show that I’ve been loving is the one called ‘Thirteen Reasons Why’ and it’s really good. One of my good friends (Mimi) introduced me to it and I’m getting addicted. My roommate and I were watching it yesterday and it just gets more and more interesting by each episode. Without spoiling too much: it’s basically about a girl who died and has left some tapes for those around her and each person has to listen to all the tapes and do as told. Afterwards the tapes must be passed on to the next. Super interesting. The trailer for it is here if you’d like to see it.

4. Being back home with the same old routines is actually one of the best highlights. When you’re back home with your parents it gets really easy to focus on relaxing and forgetting the things that you have to get done. Getting back to the routine can definitely be a good thing. I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I can’t wait to get back to working out again.

These were my quick highlights, you can read more about the previous week’s highlights right here.
