OMG! I Tried a Bubble Mask

img_2408A while ago I received a bubble mask with my Celesti bag. I’ve been wanting to try it out for such a long time, but I just didn’t have the time to pamper myself. However, looking at how dull and tired my skin had become, I realized that it was time to give it some care. Oh, and before I continue with this review I just want to apologize for the horrible eyebrows. No one is perfect.

img_2376The mask is called OMG! and is by the brand called Double Dare. It’s a two step facial mask where step one is a detox bubbling mask (the part where the fun bubbles come in) and step 2 is a microfiber mask, which will help moisturize the face and leave it with a natural glow.

Step 1: detox bubbling mask

I could immediately hear/feel the bubbles making their appearance after putting on the sheet mask. It didn’t tingle or anything, all I could hear were the bubbles forming. I read online that the bubbles supposedly pull out all the impurities from the skin, which is why they keep forming. According to the instructions, it has to be left on the face for about 1-3 minutes, but I actually kept it on for 5-6 minutes, I know, I’m such a criminal. When I took the mask off there were still bubbles on my face, which I gently washed off with cold water and then dried my face. My skin immediately felt clean, which was amazing.

Step 2: microfiber mask

The second mask was basically a regular sheet mask that I kept on for 15-20 minutes, but after taking it off my skin had this amazing healthy glow. My face felt moisturized and fresh, which is what makes this two-step mask system so great. I’m definitely buying from this brand again.

picmonkey-collageMy skin is dry/sensitive and before using the mask my face was quite red, so the mask definitely helped calm it down. Considering my skin type, I didn’t feel any sort of discomfort with the mask and if anything it actually made my skin feel more calm – I also had a couple of breakouts, which became visibly smaller/completely disappeared the day after. Win!
