Celesti – April 2017 | beauty | City of Fashionistas

Another month, equals another Celesti box and just like the previous boxes that I’ve received I’m super excited about this month’s box. April’s theme is called “Spring Forward” and is all about embracing the new spring weather and being brave enough to mix up some things in your routine, which I’m all for. The minute I opened the package I was beyond thrilled because there was a product that I’ve dying to try out, but never got around ordering one for myself to do so, so when I actually got it in the mail it was quite nice. I don’t know what it is about Celesti, but they are just so good at reading their customers and they really know how to pick out some good, trendy and current products that haven’t been tried out before.

One of the products that I got really excited about is the Lime Crime Matte Velvetines in the color ‘Angel,’ which is a metallic pink color. I think it would look nice by mixing it with another color. For example, putting the metallic color in the middle on top of a dark color, sooo pretty.

The second item I received is the Ofra eyeliner in a pitch black color. Nothing to say. The pigmentation is great and who doesn’t need a black eyeliner?

Third item, is the Make Up Store eyedust in the color ‘dust.’ It’s a really interesting product with a really beautiful color. I’m not really into the dusty kinds of eyeshadows, but this color would be so pretty with a metallic kind of look. It’s really pigmented and went on my hand nice and smooth.

Then finally, the last two products that I received were the Renuskin Lip & Eye Active Lift and the Pur-lisse Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant. I’m actually quite happy about the fact that I got an eye cream combined with a lip treatment in one. I do have a small struggle with these two areas in particular. Lately, I’ve been getting some dark circles under my eyes and my lips are getting super dry. I don’t know why, but I’ll definitely try it out. The Pur-lisse mask and exfoliant is definitely something I need right now, so I’ll have to try it out and see if I like it. It’s supposed to tighten the skin, make the pores less visible, detoxify and then give a calming feeling. Maybe a review will be up soon!
